You don't feel as though you have to incorporate all four members into one cohesive strategy. Not only do the warriors fight the same, they share special attacks as well. Both Elco and Ailish have Skill Strikes that shoot giants balls of energy. Both Tal and Buki have a whirlwind attack. Both Tal and Elco have a Skill Strike to raise the team's defense. Now I wish I could say that each character's Skill Strike is very unique and original to that character - but they're not. Enemies can still attack if you're not careful. But remember, don't spend too much time browsing through the menu since the game never actually stops, only goes into slow motion. By pressing Y you slow down the game and bring up a menu listing the various special attacks you have at your disposal. Not to be content with just melee attacks and mindless blasting, Sudeki's beloved children also have a set of attacks called Skill Strikes. And Buki can climb walls, but everything she climbs is predetermined, and often you're only climbing to push a button and come back down. You might as well just have walked there. Basically you walk up to land mass, quickly charge your pack, and then hastily fly to the other side before you fall.

Also, your pack only has a limited charge so you can't fly for long. As for the length, I finished Sudeki in 28 hours. The great part is that when you get tired of killing monsters up close, you can switch to a character with a ranged attack. Once you get accustomed to the controls battles can be pretty exciting. The bottom line is that terrible design descisions were made that seriously detract from the fun. The list of design flaws for Sudeki can be quite long, but I'm sure you get the picture.

Blacksmiths are more useful, but they all sell the same upgrades so there is no need to travel to a different city to get that awesome upgrade that you finally can afford. You could honestly play the entire game without purchasing anything from the stores. Everything you can buy in a store can be found on defeated enemies or in chests (and in large quantities!). Basically, stores are useless in general. You can't buy armor, and there is only one weapon you can buy per character (I didn't even purchase my first weapon until I was 16 hours into the game!). In addition, there really is no customization of your characters other than their own individual statistics. While walking from town to town, you are confined to narrow paths (with various arena battles in between). Battles only take place in arena-like areas from which you cannot escape until all the enemies are defeated. My biggest problem was the lack of freedom in Sudeki.
